🕯 On Saturday, the She Matters Mural in Hosier Lane became a place of remembrance and solidarity. The vigil honoured all women — and children — killed this year, with particular emphasis on those lost in recent months. Flowers and electric candles lined the mural as voices rose to share grief, anger, love, and hope. I was there with my camera, not only to document but to stand alongside others in remembering every life whose light has been stolen too soon. These moments remind us that while lives can be cruelly extinguished, memory and collective action keep their presence alive. Art has a way of reminding us who we are and how we see the world. I had the pleasure of attending MA Collecting Art with Intention, hosted by Andrew Martin and featuring the remarkable works of Adam Lee — an experience I was grateful to share with the Finsure Team. Back in school, I chose art as one of my majors — not just as a subject, but as a way of expressing how I saw the world. It gave me a sense of creativity and perspective that has stayed with me ever since, influencing how I connect with people, places, and stories today. This event was a beautiful reminder of that. The evening blended art appreciation with meaningful conversation, offering insight into Adam Lee’s creative process and the intentions behind his captivating work. It was also a wonderful chance to connect with fellow art enthusiasts, collectors, and colleagues who share the same passion.
